Tech Censorship: Ugly? Yes… But Government Is STILL Not The Solution: Ep 142

The round of censorship we are witnessing is collusion, not capitalism.

Yikes, a weekend of lock step censorship collusion among the tech giants. Even though shutting down the speech of people on their platform is something that I disagree with, these platforms are still their own property, and government is not the solution.

Handing this power to the government would immediately backfire. Government action FURTHER centralizes the control of the allowable narrative. The moment that happens, is the moment where the opposition to the party of power will always be silenced.

We need decentralization, not centralization. They exposed themselves to competition. This is a good hand dealt to many of the world’s tech entrepreneurs. Here’s to hoping they play the hand and seize the opportunity to provide value to millions whom these oligarchs have just attempted to silence.
